Waiting in the Wings—Adding a Hall Bench
In the hallway closer to the bedrooms, you can add a hall bench outside the children’s rooms. This will be the place where they dangle their feet and wait for you to help them with their sneakers, and the place where they meet that right of passage, tying their own shoelaces.
