Most of the living that goes on in our homes happens in the kitchen, the family room, and our bedrooms. This is where we eat our meals, entertain our family and friends, and recharge at the end of the day. The spaces we travel through to get to these places—the hallways—don’t get as much attention as the heart of our homes.
